Fern & Fire was born out of a deeply personal chapter in my life.
After my dad was diagnosed with dementia, everything shifted. I needed something grounding—something that would help me slow down and make sense of what I was feeling.
I found that in clay.
My dad was an artisan and woodworker, always creating with his hands. Pottery has become a way for me to stay connected to that part of him—to carry forward that same spirit of making, even as so much has changed.
Working with clay quiets the noise. It brings me back to the present. What started as a way to cope has grown into something I now share—pieces made to bring calm, warmth, and meaning into everyday moments.
